Принц Маврицио Савойски


Маврицио Савойски (на италиански: Maurizio di Savoia, * 10 януари 1593 в Торино, † 4 октомври 1627 в Торино) е италиански кардинал.


Той е четвъртият син на херцог Карл Емануил I Савойски (1562–1630) и съпругата му инфанта Каталина-Микаела Испанска (1567-1597). По-големият му брат Виктор Амадей I (1587-1637) е 11-тият херцог на Савоя.


На 14 години през 1607 г. папа Павел V го номинира за кардинал и епископ на Верчели. Той не получава църковно ръкополагане и получава разрешението (dispens) да започне светски живот, ако е необходимо за династията. Той е абат на Олпс от 1618 до 1642 г. и от 4 юни 1627 г. абат на Абондансе. Той събира голяма колекция от произведения на изкуството.


Вдовицата на брат му Кристин Мари Бурбон-Френска го задължава да напусне службата си като кардинал и да се ожени през септември 1642 г. за нейната 14-годишна дъщеря Лудовика Кристина Савойска (1629, † 1692). Те отиват да живеят в Ница, където той е щатхалтер. Бракът е бездетен. Маврицио умира от удар на 3 октомври 1657 г. в Торино и оставя на вдовицата си големи финансови задължения
