Características |


O Atlas A foi un modelo de probas que non levaba oxiva funcional. Voou oito veces, con cinco fallos, e deu lugar ao primeiro ICBM (mísil balístico intercontinental) despregado nos Estados Unidos. Co tempo o foguete evolucionaría para dar lugar a unha familia de lanzadores espaciais.[1][2]
