Стената на Аврелиан на Рим през 6 век. Локализията на лагера на готите е маркирана.


Първата обсада на Рим се провежда през Готската война, трае една година и девет дена от 2 март 537 до 12 март 538 г. Провежда се от Остготското кралство от остготите с крал Витигис, които обсаждат Рим, в който се намират източните римляни (византийците) с командир генерал Велизарий. Завършва с победа на римляните.
