Chonchon er et fylke (kun) i provinsen Chagang i Nord-Korea. Fylket var opprinnelig en del av Kanggye, men ble reorganisert og fradelt som egen fylke i 1949.


Fylket ligger høyt og er fjellrikt, det høyeste punktet er Sungjoksan, 1984 moh. Chogyuryong-fjellene er en fjellkjede som går gjennom fylket.


I fylket ligger en stor fyrstikkfabrikk, og det huser også landets største edelgran.
