Беренче мәртәбә 1287 елда Ипатьев елъязмасында телгә алына. 14 йөзнең башыннан Бөек Литва кенәзлеге тәркибендә, аның эчендәге Кобрин кенәзлеге үзәге. 1569 дан Пүлшә-Литва берлеге тәркибендә. 1589 да Магдебург хокукы бирелә. Пүлшәне өченче мәртәбә бүлүдән соң Рәсәй империясе тәркибендә, Гродно губернасында өяз үзәге. 1921 дән Икенче Пүлшә Җөмһүрияте тәркибендә. ССРБ һәм Өченче рейхның Пүлшәгә уртак бәреп керүе (1939) нәтиҗәсендә шәһәр ССРБ тәркибенә кертелә. 1941-44 еллардаалман оккупациясе астында. 1991 дан Беларус тәркибендә.
